It's been a busy time in the Triffitt Jnr household. We took a trip up to the Gold Coast a couple weeks back for my little sister's wedding. What an honour and privilege it was to celebrate with her as Maid of Honour. She was such a beautiful bride and it couldn't have been a nicer day.
Kaitlan put all the bridesmaids up in a hotel the night before and we spent the night sewing little pink flowers on flower girl dresses and going over and over the dreaded dance to be performed at the reception. As my very tired head hit the pillow that night lying next to the soon to be bride, I realised it may be the last time I ever have the opportunity to share a bed with my best friend before she shares a bed with.....a boy! It was nice to drift off thinking of our nights snuggled up next to each other giggling, sharing our innermost thoughts and enjoying each others company. What an incredible person my sister is and how I will treasure those moments.
